FAQs &
Known Issues
1. When are first granted access
to the app, there is a persistent
notification about how to install
the app. If you closed it
prematurely or otherwise need
the installation instructions
again, select the "Saving the
webmail interface to your device"
video from the tutorials.
2. "Android Browser" can
become a deprecated version
due to the age/upgradability of
your specific device. On android
devices please set Chrome or
another modern browser as your
default browser.
3. Using this app from your
mobile device, while not on WiFi
will consume data, standard
carrier data plan charges may
apply - Just as with any website.
4. When using this app from your
mobile device, clicking a physical
address or "driving directions"
link hands over to Google gps
apps - if they are installed on
your device, that Google app on
your device will access your
device gps according to its
permission settings. THIS app
does not and cannot access the
gps of your device, and is
incapable of knowing or tracking
your gps location.
5. To uninstall this app, follow the
standard procedure on your
device supplied by the
manufacturer for removing a
homescreen bookmark.
6. The desktop version is
designed to be used on the
desktop, and the mobile version
to be used on mobile devices. We
do not support running the
mobile version on desktop or the
desktop version on mobile. The
buttons to change interface type
only exist in the scenario that a
newer device or OS initially auto
selects the incorrect interface for
its type. Logging out does not
reset the interface choice,
interface type changes can only
be made within active sessions
on that device.
7. Some features and sections of
our mobile web application may
not work properly on
devices/browsers that do not
support HTML5 or that are older
than iOS7 or Android v5.0
(Lollipop). There are known
issues with the latest and prior
versions of Internet Explorer,
which is deprecated by Microsoft
and is no longer supported.
8. If you see the tiertiary buttons
on the login screen stacked on
the left side of the mobile device
screen, you are using an
outdated iOS version which we
do not officially support - but the
functionality of the system is not
hindered by the older iOS
version as of January 2017.

9. Due to the multitude of mobile
devices, screen formats, OS
types, OS versions, sleep
functions, quality of data
connections and other technical
aspects - it is possible that
occasionally a mobile device can
be resumed from sleep to an
active session with the interface
mostly absent. This is not
classified as a bug, as it is readily
corrected by refreshing the
mobile browser window - and re-
logging in if prompted to do so.
10. It is possible to open many
instances of the mobile webmail
interface without closing the
older tabs. For optimal security
and performance, it is
recommended to keep open tabs
to a minimum by closing the
open tab when leaving a session
and/or draft.
11. Bulk-mailing is NOT
permitted, and is against usage
policy, for bulk-mailing and
campaigns, use a specialized
service such as MailChimp, etc.
Your address book can be easily
exported for use with outside
services. Offenders of the no
bulk-mailing policy are subject to
immediate complete account
termination with remaining
account term being forfeit.
12. SPF policies may prevent
older softwares and services
from sending email for the
account. For your software or
service to use an email account
from our system, the software or
service must accept and use our
smtp server and secure ports in
order to pass validation.
13. To email to a group in your
address book, simply start typing
in the group name and select it
as the recipient.
14. We run a minimal spam filter
server-side that delivers blatant
spam with the subject line
modified to read "***SPAM***"
allowing you to set your own
filter, whether to have those
messages go to the junk folder
or directly to trash folder. With
the filters system you can set
your own criteria for what you
deem spam, and handle it as you
see fit. The filters system is also
useful for automating sorting of
incoming emails to specific
folders, such as having all emails
from your wireless provider go
directly to a folder you created
for them, and choosing whether
to mark them read or not when
delivering to that folder - keeping
your inbox clutter free. The filters
system only operates during an
active webmail session, filters
cannot be used for server-side
operations when utilizing your
account with third-party
softwares or apps. When using a
third-party software or app, it is
that solution's responsibility to
have its own filters setup. Our
setup ensures that you do not
miss any important emails
because of a server-side filter
operation that never passed a
result to your access method.
Filters modified in webmail
operate for both versions of
webmail, desktop and mobile.
15. With the MAILTO handler
setting, you can make the
desktop webmail client your
default mail client on your PC or
MAC computer. Built for Chrome
browser, it may operate in full or
limited functionality as machine's
default email client from other
modern browsers. Features
include sound notifications, on-
screen popup notifications,
handling of "send mail"
operations and monitoring for
clicking of mail-to links.
Known Issues (4)
1. On iOS mobile devices, when
composing a message, changing
the body plain-text/html-text
option combined with scrolling
to the bottom of the open
browser tab, can cause top
toolbar to be locked out of reach
when scrolling back up. This is a
known priority-rated bug. Until a
fix is published, if this happens to
you, simply copy your body text,
close the compose tab, start a
composing a new message,
select the proper body text type,
and paste in your body text to
send the email.
2. Galaxy S5 & S6, and Huawei P9
devices have a moderate-rated
known bug where the compose
button on top of the current
folder message list extends
below the bottom edge of the
screen. Should that compose
button be inoperable on one of
these listed devices, the
compose function can also be
accessed from message list views
via the left-menu hamburger
button.
3. The mailto handler is not
compatible with mobile devices,
blocking this selection on the
mobile interface is a priority-
rated bug.
4. Additional contact address
groups cannot be created from
the mobile webmail interface,
existing groups can be edited,
but new contact address group
creation must be performed with
the desktop webmail interface
on a computer. Thereafter the
mobile interface can edit the
then existing group.
