1. When are first granted access to the app, there is a persistent notification about how to install the app. If you closed it prematurely or otherwise need the installation instructions again, select the "Saving the webmail interface to your device" video from the tutorials. 2. "Android Browser" can become a deprecated version due to the age/upgradability of your specific device. On android devices please set Chrome or another modern browser as your default browser. 3. Using this app from your mobile device, while not on WiFi will consume data, standard carrier data plan charges may apply - Just as with any website. 4. When using this app from your mobile device, clicking a physical address or "driving directions" link hands over to Google gps apps - if they are installed on your device, that Google app on your device will access your device gps according to its permission settings. THIS app does not and cannot access the gps of your device, and is incapable of knowing or tracking your gps location. 5. To uninstall this app, follow the standard procedure on your device supplied by the manufacturer for removing a homescreen bookmark. 6. The desktop version is designed to be used on the desktop, and the mobile version to be used on mobile devices. We do not support running the mobile version on desktop or the desktop version on mobile. The buttons to change interface type only exist in the scenario that a newer device or OS initially auto selects the incorrect interface for its type. Logging out does not reset the interface choice, interface type changes can only be made within active sessions on that device. 7. Some features and sections of our mobile web application may not work properly on devices/browsers that do not support HTML5 or that are older than iOS7 or Android v5.0 (Lollipop). There are known issues with the latest and prior versions of Internet Explorer, which is deprecated by Microsoft and is no longer supported. 8. If you see the tiertiary buttons on the login screen stacked on the left side of the mobile device screen, you are using an outdated iOS version which we do not officially support - but the functionality of the system is not hindered by the older iOS version as of January 2017. Due to the multitude of mobile devices, screen formats, OS types, OS versions, sleep functions, quality of data connections and other technical aspects - it is possible that occasionally a mobile device can be resumed from sleep to an active session with the interface mostly absent. This is not classified as a bug, as it is readily corrected by refreshing the mobile browser window - and re-logging in if prompted to do so. 10. It is possible to open many instances of the mobile webmail interface without closing the older tabs. For optimal security and performance, it is recommended to keep open tabs to a minimum by closing the open tab when leaving a session and/or draft. 11. Bulk-mailing is NOT permitted, and is against usage policy, for bulk-mailing and campaigns, use a specialized service such as MailChimp, etc. Your address book can be easily exported for use with outside services. Offenders of the no bulk-mailing policy are subject to immediate complete account termination with remaining account term being forfeit. 12. SPF policies may prevent older softwares and services from sending email for the account. For your software or service to use an email account from our system, the software or service must accept and use our smtp server and secure ports in order to pass validation. 13. To email to a group in your address book, simply start typing in the group name and select it as the recipient. 14. We run a minimal spam filter server-side that delivers blatant spam with the subject line modified to read "***SPAM***" allowing you to set your own filter, whether to have those messages go to the junk folder or directly to trash folder. With the filters system you can set your own criteria for what you deem spam, and handle it as you see fit. The filters system is also useful for automating sorting of incoming emails to specific folders, such as having all emails from your wireless provider go directly to a folder you created for them, and choosing whether to mark them read or not when delivering to that folder - keeping your inbox clutter free. The filters system only operates during an active webmail session, filters cannot be used for server-side operations when utilizing your account with third-party softwares or apps. When using a third-party software or app, it is that solution's responsibility to have its own filters setup. Our setup ensures that you do not miss any important emails because of a server-side filter operation that never passed a result to your access method. Filters modified in webmail operate for both versions of webmail, desktop and mobile. 15. With the MAILTO handler setting, you can make the desktop webmail client your default mail client on your PC or MAC computer. Built for Chrome browser, it may operate in full or limited functionality as machine's default email client from other modern browsers. Features include sound notifications, on-screen popup notifications, handling of "send mail" operations and monitoring for clicking of mail-to links. Known Issues (4) 1. On iOS mobile devices, when composing a message, changing the body plain-text/html-text option combined with scrolling to the bottom of the open browser tab, can cause top toolbar to be locked out of reach when scrolling back up. This is a known priority-rated bug. Until a fix is published, if this happens to you, simply copy your body text, close the compose tab, start a composing a new message, select the proper body text type, and paste in your body text to send the email. 2. Galaxy S5 & S6, and Huawei P9 devices have a moderate-rated known bug where the compose button on top of the current folder message list extends below the bottom edge of the screen. Should that compose button be inoperable on one of these listed devices, the compose function can also be accessed from message list views via the left-menu hamburger button. 3. The mailto handler is not compatible with mobile devices, blocking this selection on the mobile interface is a priority-rated bug. 4. Additional contact address groups cannot be created from the mobile webmail interface, existing groups can be edited, but new contact address group creation must be performed with the desktop webmail interface on a computer. Thereafter the mobile interface can edit the then existing group.
